Now I won't get to see "The Biggest Loser"
So I quick change the channel 'cause I just can't relate
And I'll watch anything but the State of the Union

Glad I've got cable TV
Lots of shows, lots of channels
Hope something's on that I would like to see
With some T and some A, I can eye

But the State of the Union
Playing on channel 8
Means I won't get to stare at "Killer Women"
And I know that I'd rather watch a show about bait
Way before I'll start watching the State of the Union

Searching through all of the shows
Gimme great big explosions
Wanna see two boxers go toe to toe
Not some guy with a tie speechify

It's the State of the Union
And I'm telling you straight
You'll have more chuckles watching "Honey Boo Boo"
And as long as there's Michelob the country is great
And I don't need a speech on the state of the union
