To take my turn at karaoke

I botch a line or two
Or miss a cue - it's kinda feeble

My vocal chords, they still are scarred
That's how I know how much I blow at karaoke

But I just have to sing
Though some have said I should be silent

I could have picked a longer song
That just goes on and on and on
So it's goodbye 'til my next try at karaoke
