If you were listening to the BKSG show on May 13, 2006, you witnessed the birth of the Blue Flame. Then later in the show, a call came in from Blue Flame and his agent. After the parody was played on July 1, 2006, I called in to tell the story behind the parody.

Every weekend at some dive you could see him arrive
He stood five foot six and weighed three forty five
Kinda broad in the middle and rather unrefined
And everybody knew you didn't stand behind the Blue Flame

Nobody seemed to know the Blue Flames past
But near everyone agreed he sure was a blast
He didn't say much, he just ate lots of beans
There's a flap on the backside of the jeans of Blue Flame

We'll never know when he first learned the fact
That bic lighters and his intestinal tract
Could turn booty bombs into jets of flame
But from that point on his life was never the same - Blue Flame

He bought a bunch of lighters and worked up a show
To the tune of Bob Seger's Fire Down Below
By adjusting the flame his gas passed through
It would change colors from yellow to blue - Blue Flame

He toured the truck stops around the land
Blowin out toots like an all-brass band
You could hear him for miles when he would start
There was nothing silent about the farts of Blue Flame

He ate his beans and he drank his beers
Then he'd perform and leave the crowd in tears
But his grand finale was what brought him fame
The sapphire flatulence that gave him his name - Blue Flame

But then one show disaster struck
When his jet of fire shot straight at a truck
It hit the deisel tank with a blast
And everybody knew they'd seen the last of Blue Flame

The survivors decided what they should do
In honor of the man with the indigo toot
They gave a twenty-one fart salute to Blue Flame
